The Cape May County Park & Zoo in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, provides free year-round admission to a collection of over 550 animals representing 250 species in 85 acres (34 ha) of exhibits. The zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North, in the center of Cape May County's Central Park, and together the zoo and the park cover about 220 acres (89 ha). The zoo began operation in 1978. Its principal exhibit areas are a 57-acre (23 ha) African Savanna, a free-flight aviary, and a reptile collection. The zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:45pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:45pm in the summer. Time changes occur with Daylight Savings.

The Cape May Arcades are two buildings, Family Fun Arcade at 732 Beach Avenue and the all-new Beach Arcade at 406 Beach Avenue located on Cape May’s Ocean Promenade. This museum is open and free to the public. A great place to enjoy the history of the City of Cape May Fire Dept. Shirts can be purchased inside the Station. The career personnel on staff will be happy to assist you. Our Antique Fire Engine is a 1928 American La France and is housed inside the museum.

Beach Plum Farm is located less than two miles from Cape May’s historic downtown. Established in 2008 by owners Curtis Bashaw and Will Riccio, this working farm is open to the public and welcomes visitors from near and far. Since 2008, Beach Plum Farm has grown to produce over 100 kinds of fruits and vegetables as well as chickens, eggs, and Berkshire Hogs. The Farm provides produce and meats to local Cape May restaurants including The Ebbitt Room, the Blue Pig Tavern, the Rusty Nail, the Boiler Room, Louisa’s Café, and more.
Cape May Point State Park is a 244-acre state park located in Lower Township, New Jersey, with a Cape May Point postal address. The park offers walking, hiking, and nature trails as well as beaches, an exhibit gallery, a ranger office, and is the site of the Cape May Light House.
