CAPE MAY

Cape May has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. From Higbee Beach to Poverty Beach, Cape May is a beach-lovers’ paradise.

AVALON

Avalon offers a unique charm that you won't find anywhere else, and you'll be surprised by how much there is to do! There are unlimited activities for every age. Water lovers will enjoy boating, sailing, surfing, swimming and more. For those who prefer a slower pace, enjoy a walk on our beautiful beach, take a boat tour, a leisurely bike ride through town, or simply watch the sunset.
 

STONE HARBOR

Stone Harbor is a lovely seashore town on the beautiful Seven Mile Island of the Jersey Cape. Bordered on the East by the Atlantic Ocean and on the West by the Intercoastal Waterway, Stone Harbor offers wonderful opportunities for family vacation fun.  Stone Harbor offers small-town charm, with a quaint shopping district, and and exceptional restaurants. 

 

SEA ISLE CITY

Sea Isle City is a popular oceanfront resort in historic Cape May County. Sea Isle City offers something for everyone, and no matter what time of year you plan to be there.

CAPE MAY ZOO

The Cape May County Park & Zoo in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, provides free year-round admission to a collection of over 550 animals representing 250 species in 85 acres (34 ha) of exhibits. The zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North, in the center of Cape May County's Central Park, and together the zoo and the park cover about 220 acres (89 ha). The zoo began operation in 1978. Its principal exhibit areas are a 57-acre (23 ha) African Savanna, a free-flight aviary, and a reptile collection. The zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:45pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:45pm in the summer. Time changes occur with Daylight Savings.

CAPE MAY ARCADE

The Cape May Arcades are two buildings, Family Fun Arcade at 732 Beach Avenue and the all-new Beach Arcade at 406 Beach Avenue located on Cape May’s Ocean Promenade.  They both feature the latest and most exciting arcade games with cool prizes! Along with great vibes and service the arcade experience is fun for all ages. 

CAPE MAY FIRE STATION

This museum is open and free to the public. A great place to enjoy the history of the City of Cape May Fire Dept. Shirts can be purchased inside the Station. The career personnel on staff will be happy to assist you. Our Antique Fire Engine is a 1928 American La France and is housed inside the museum.

EMIEN PHYSICK ESTATE

A visit to the Physick Estate today offers a look back at our Victorian past as evidenced by its architecture, decorative arts, customs, and the lives of one particular Cape May family, the Physicks. Emlen Physick Jr., his widowed mother, Frances Ralston, and his maiden aunt Emilie Parmentier moved into their home when it was completed in 1879. *Cape May MAC (Museums + Arts + Culture) is a multi-faceted non-profit organization that promotes the restoration, interpretation, and cultural enrichment of the Cape May region for its residents and visitors.  Always check the website or call to get accurate dates and times! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

 

BEACH PLUM FARM

Discover the beautiful open spaces of Beach Plum Farm, a 62-acre working farm tucked away in West Cape May. Rooted in sustainable practices and a sense of community, Beach Plum Farm is proud to champion the timeless farming heritage of the Garden State. Beach Plum Farm is located less than two miles from Cape May’s historic downtown. Established in 2008 by owners Curtis Bashaw and Will Riccio, this working farm is open to the public and welcomes visitors from near and far. Since 2008, Beach Plum Farm has grown to produce over 100 kinds of fruits and vegetables as well as chickens, eggs, and Berkshire Hogs. The Farm provides produce and meats to local Cape May restaurants including The Ebbitt Room, the Blue Pig Tavern, the Rusty Nail, the Boiler Room, Louisa’s Café, and more.

CAPE MAY POINT STATE PARK

Cape May Point State Park is a 244-acre state park located in Lower Township, New Jersey, with a Cape May Point postal address. The park offers walking, hiking, and nature trails as well as beaches, an exhibit gallery, a ranger office, and is the site of the Cape May Light House.

GREATER CAPE MAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Greater Cape May Historical Society is the steward of The Colonial House. The Colonial House or Memucan Hughes House was originally a tavern and the family home of Revolutionary War patriot Memucan Hughes. The house is an unsung survivor from Cape Island’s very beginning and thought to be one of the oldest surviving houses on Cape Island. The Colonial House is also the headquarters of the Greater Cape May Historical Society.
